Maruti Suzuki has introduced a special edition of the Wagon R, named the ‘Waltz Edition,’ with a starting price of ₹5.65 lakh. This limited-run version features a range of visual upgrades and enhanced features.
What’s New in the Maruti Wagon R Waltz Edition
The Waltz Edition comes with several cosmetic enhancements, including fog lamps with chrome accents, wheel-arch cladding, bumper protectors, side skirts, body-side moulding, and a chrome-finished grille. Inside, it boasts designer floor mats, interior styling kits, and a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a reverse parking camera.
Although Maruti Suzuki has confirmed the Wagon R Waltz Edition is a limited-edition model, it has not specified the exact number of units or the duration of availability. The Waltz Edition is available across the LXi, VXi, and ZXi variants, but individual variant prices are yet to be disclosed.
Maruti Wagon R Waltz Edition: Engine, Specs, and Rivals
The Waltz Edition offers two engine options: a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine delivering 67hp and 89Nm of torque, and a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 90hp and 113Nm of torque. Both engines are available with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT. Additionally, a CNG variant is available with the 1.0-litre engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
In terms of competition, the Maruti Wagon R squares off against the Tata Tiago, Citroen C3, and its sibling, the Maruti Celerio.
