BMW has introduced the exclusive X7 Signature Edition in India, priced at ₹1.33 crore (ex-showroom). This special edition, a more refined version of the standard X7, features distinct visual upgrades and is available in limited quantities. Offered exclusively in the xDrive40i variant, the X7 Signature Edition is being locally manufactured at BMW’s plant in Chennai.
BMW X7 Signature Edition: Key Highlights
The X7 Signature Edition stands out with its exterior enhancements, including crystal headlamps adorned with Swarovski glass-cut crystals, and Satin-finished Aluminium roof rails. The LED tail lamps now feature a fresh inner graphic, and the chrome bar connecting them is shrouded in smoked glass. It is available in two exclusive BMW Individual paint finishes – Tanzanite Blue and Dravit Grey.
Inside, the cabin boasts premium touches such as Individual leather on the instrument panel, unique crystal door pins, and luxurious Alcantara cushions. The Signature Edition also includes advanced features like the BMW Curved Display with a 14.9-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a head-up display, the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, a panoramic sunroof, and more.
This special edition comes at a ₹3 lakh premium over the standard BMW X7 xDrive40i, which is priced at ₹1.30 crore.
BMW X7 Signature Edition: Powertrain and Specifications
Under the hood, the X7 Signature Edition retains the same 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with 48V mild-hybrid technology. This powertrain delivers 381hp and 520Nm of torque, enabling the three-row SUV to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds. Power is sent through an 8-speed automatic gearbox, paired with BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system.
The BMW X7 Signature Edition competes with other luxury three-row SUVs, including the Mercedes GLS, Volvo XC90, and Audi Q7.
