Volkswagen Launches Taigun and Virtus Onam Editions

Volkswagen has introduced special Onam Edition models for its Taigun midsize SUV and Virtus midsize sedan, priced between Rs 14.08 lakh-15.63 lakh and Rs 13.57 lakh-14.87 lakh, respectively. These editions celebrate the Onam festival and mark the inauguration of six new touchpoints in Kerala. The limited-run Onam Editions are exclusively available in Kerala and feature unique exterior and interior enhancements.

  • Exclusivity: Only available in Kerala with a limited run of 100 units each.
  • Base Models: Taigun GT Line and Virtus Highline.
  • Engine: Both models come with a 1.0-litre TSI engine, offering both manual and automatic transmission options.
  • Price: Same as the variants on which they are based.

Unique Features:

  • Exterior: Both models sport an all-black finish, including blacked-out chrome elements such as the grille. They also feature black 17-inch ‘Cassino’ alloy wheels.
  • Interior: The Onam Editions boast all-black interiors. Additional features include front parking sensors, a dual-tone horn, puddle lamps, and a TSI badge on the front fender.

Volkswagen Taigun Onam Edition:

  • Based on the GT Line variant.
  • Features include an 8-inch digital driver display, 10-inch infotainment touchscreen, powered sunroof, ventilated front seats, and automatic climate control.

Volkswagen Virtus Onam Edition:

  • Based on the Highline variant.
  • Shares most features with the Taigun Onam, except for the sunroof.

The Onam Edition models offer enhanced aesthetics and features while maintaining the pricing of their respective base variants.
