Tata Tiago Ev Deliveries Commence Across India

Tata Motors has started sending out the first group of 2000 Tiago electric vehicles (EVs). Less than a month after the prices were announced, more than 20,000 units have already been booked for the most affordable electric passenger car in the country. Because of the aforementioned milestone, the brand raised the prices for the first 10,000 bookings to apply to all 20,000 bookings.

There are two types of battery packs for the Tiago EV. The 19.2kWh and 24kWh packs are said to have a range of 250 km and 315 km, respectively. The model comes in four different versions: the XE, the XT, the XZ+, and the XZ+ Tech Lux. Customers can choose from five colours, such as Teal Blue, Daytona Grey, Tropical Mist, Pristine White, and Midnight Plum.

Vivek Srivatsa, Head of Marketing, Sales, and Service Strategy for Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEML), said, “The launch of the Tiago EV was meant to speed up the adoption of EVs by making the Indian EV market more accessible to everyone. We are happy to say that we are on the right track with this product, with cars sold in 133 cities thanks to a strong sales network.”

We’re celebrating this brand’s success today because people have faith in it. As of January 2023, the number of EVs has grown by 38.6% from the previous year. We are still committed to our vision of giving customers the best and making EVs available to everyone. Also, we’d like to thank the channel partners all over the country for helping us on our journey and making the dream of India going electric come true.
