MG Motor India has expanded the ZS EV lineup with the introduction of a new mid-spec variant called the Excite Pro. Priced at Rs 19.98 lakh, this addition positions the ZS EV as India’s sole all-electric car under Rs 20 lakh featuring a dual-pane panoramic sunroof.
What’s New
The Excite Pro variant, priced Rs 1 lakh higher than the base ZS EV Executive variant, offers significant value with a price tag Rs 4 lakh lower than the new Exclusive Plus trim. Though the exact features list for the Excite Pro is yet to be disclosed, it prominently features a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. Anticipate a similar array of creature comforts and safety equipment as seen in the now-discontinued Excite variant.
Revised Line-up
MG Motor India has revamped the ZS EV’s lineup, replacing the Excite trim with the Excite Pro, the Exclusive with the Exclusive Plus, and the Exclusive Pro with the Essence. Each trim is expected to offer features equivalent to the outgoing variants. The top-spec Essence variant boasts a comprehensive kit including a 360-degree camera, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless charger, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and connected car technology. Safety features encompass ADAS, six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and hill descent control.
Technical Specifications
All trims retain the same 50.3kWh battery pack providing an ARAI range of 461km, coupled with a front axle-mounted 177hp electric motor.
