Hyundai Venue Executive Launched at Rs 9.99 Lakh

Hyundai has introduced a new mid-spec variant, the Venue Executive, priced at Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom India. This variant is exclusively available with the 120hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. It sits Rs 1.75 lakh lower than the Venue S(O) variant with the same engine.

Features of Hyundai Venue Executive

The Venue Executive brings the turbo-petrol engine option within a more accessible range. Exterior highlights include 16-inch dual-styled wheels with 215/60 R16 rubber, dark chrome accents on the front grille, and an ‘Executive’ badge on the tailgate and roof rails.

On the inside, the Venue Executive offers a decent list of features, including two-step reclining and 60:40 split-folding rear seats, an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, cruise control, rear AC vents, and a rear wiper. However, it lacks features such as a rear camera, LED lights and DRLs, ORVM-mounted indicators, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, a sunroof, and a rear parcel tray available in the S(O) variant.

Upgraded Features in Hyundai Venue S(O) Turbo

Hyundai has also enhanced the Venue S(O) Turbo variants. They now offer 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch auto options priced at Rs 10.75 lakh and Rs 11.86 lakh, respectively. Additionally, this variant includes features like a sunroof and reading lamps for the driver and front passenger.

Rivals Comparison

Priced between Rs 9.99 lakh-11.86 lakh, the Venue Executive and S(O) Turbo variants directly compete with the Renault Kiger Turbo and Nissan Magnite Turbo, priced between Rs 9.30 lakh-11.23 lakh and Rs 8.25 lakh-11.27 lakh, respectively. Notably, Kia’s sibling of the Venue, the Sonet, offers the same engine option, starting at Rs 10.49 lakh, which is notably higher than the Venue Turbo’s price point.
