Maruti Suzuki Nexa Reaches Milestone of Selling 2 Million Units

Since it was first made, Maruti Suzuki’s Nexa has been sold in India two million times. It has more than 440 dealerships in over 280 different cities. Notably, Nexa makes up about 20% of the car company’s sales in the country as a whole.

Maruti Suzuki sells the Ignis, Baleno, Ciaz, XL6, and Grand Vitara, which just came out, under the Nexa sub-brand. Also, when they come out, the Fronx and Jimny will be sold at Nexa dealerships. In terms of new products, Maruti Suzuki has already taken more than 38,000 orders for the Jimny and Fronx together. Still, the automaker started selling the S-Cross as the first model under the new sub-brand Nexa in July 2015.

Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said about the event, “Nexa was conceived in 2015 with the idea that it would offer unique experiences along with smart and innovative technology through a wide range of products.”

“With the release of the Jimny and the Fronx, two new SUVs, the Nexa lineup looks stronger than ever. Together, they have gotten more than 38,000 bookings. We are sure that the NEXA channel will be even more successful next year “he added.
