Audi India to Launch 3 New Cars in 2024

Audi India is poised to expand its portfolio in 2024, following a triumphant 2023 where it witnessed an impressive 88% growth in the first nine months, with sales surpassing 5,500 units. Last year, Audi enhanced its lineup with the introduction of the Q3 Sportback, the Q8 e-tron, and the Q8 e-tron Sportback. Looking ahead, the German luxury automaker is set to introduce three exciting new models to the Indian market: two updated versions of existing favorites and an innovative all-electric vehicle.

Please note that the following launch dates and prices are estimations:

  1. Audi Q8 Facelift

    • Expected Launch: Early 2024
    • Estimated Price: Rs 1.1 crore to Rs 1.4 crore
    • Engine: 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol
    • Key Features: The facelifted Audi Q8 will primarily see aesthetic enhancements both internally and externally. This includes the addition of sophisticated HD Matrix LED headlights. The powertrain remains the same as its predecessor, featuring a 340hp, 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission and Quattro AWD system. Although the updates are modest, they promise to maintain the model’s price point close to the current range of Rs 1.07 crore to Rs 1.43 crore.
  2. Audi A6 Facelift

    • Expected Launch: Mid 2024
    • Estimated Price: Rs 60 lakh to Rs 65 lakh
    • Engine: 2.0-litre turbo-petrol
    • Key Features: The refreshed Audi A6, set to arrive in India approximately a year after its international unveiling, will feature subtle exterior modifications and a few interior updates. Enhancements include redesigned matrix LED headlights, a more pronounced single-frame grille, and updated front and rear bumpers. New alloy wheel designs are also expected. The powertrain is likely to remain unchanged, continuing with the current model’s 245hp, 2.0-litre mild-hybrid turbo-petrol engine, and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
  3. Audi Q6 e-tron

    • Expected Launch: Late 2024
    • Estimated Price: Rs 1 crore
    • Battery Specifications: To be announced
    • Key Features: The Q6 e-tron is a groundbreaking electric SUV built on Audi’s new Premium Platform Electric (PPE), incorporating cutting-edge battery and charging technology along with the brand’s latest ‘E3’ electronics architecture. While complete powertrain details are pending, the vehicle is expected to offer a range of about 600km, thanks to its 800V architecture. Interior highlights include Audi’s newest infotainment system, featuring twin curved screens—an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen—complemented by an additional 10.9-inch screen for the front passenger. The Q6 e-tron will also boast advanced digital matrix LED headlights with multi-pixel LED array and second-generation digital OLED technology. Positioned below the Q8 e-tron, this model is anticipated to be a more compact and affordable electric SUV option in Audi’s lineup.

These upcoming launches underscore Audi’s commitment to combining luxury, performance, and cutting-edge technology, further strengthening its position in the Indian automotive market.
