Porsche India to launch 4 new models in 2024

Porsche India is gearing up for an exciting 2024 with the introduction of four new models, further expanding its luxurious and high-performance lineup. This announcement aligns with the brand’s celebration of its 75th anniversary and follows the successful launch of the Cayenne facelift, the 911 S/T, and the all-new Panamera. Here’s a glimpse of what Porsche enthusiasts in India can anticipate:

  1. Porsche Macan EV

    • Estimated Price: INR 1 – 1.5 Crore
    • Launch Date: Mid 2024
    • Key Specifications: 100kWh Battery, 612hp, 1,000Nm Torque

    The Macan EV, Porsche’s first electric iteration of a legacy model, is poised to hit the Indian market soon after its global debut. The flagship Turbo variant boasts a 100kWh battery pack, dual motors for all-wheel drive, and a rear-biased engineering setup. Charging capabilities are impressive, with a 270kW capacity enabling a 10 to 80 percent charge in under 22 minutes. Inside, expect a 12.6-inch instrument panel, a central 10.9-inch touchscreen, and an optional passenger screen. The augmented reality HUD is a notable feature, projecting the equivalent of an 87-inch display.

  2. Porsche Panamera GTS

    • Estimated Price: INR 2 Crore
    • Launch Date: Mid 2024
    • Engine: 4.0-litre Twin-Turbo V8

    Following the launch of the third-gen Panamera with a V6 engine, Porsche India will introduce the high-performance Panamera GTS. This model will feature a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, along with design and interior enhancements.

  3. Porsche Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe GTS

    • Estimated Price: INR 2.5 Crore
    • Launch Date: Mid 2024
    • Engine: 4.0-litre Twin-Turbo V8

    The refreshed Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe will see the addition of GTS variants, incorporating performance and aesthetic upgrades. They will be equipped with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, expected to deliver over 500hp.

  4. Porsche Taycan and Taycan Cross Turismo Facelift

    • Estimated Price: INR 1.5 – 2.8 Crore
    • Launch Date: End 2024
    • Battery: 79.2kWh – 93.4kWh

    The all-electric Taycan and its estate variant, the Taycan Cross Turismo, are set for mid-life facelifts. These updates will align them with newer Porsche models, maintaining current battery options with slight improvements in range and performance.

In addition to these launches, Porsche India is also preparing for the debut of the 911 facelift in 2025.
