Yamaha FZ-S Fi Updated for 2025, Priced at ₹1.35 Lakh

Yamaha has rolled out the 2025 iteration of the FZ-S Fi in India, now priced at ₹1.35 lakh (ex-showroom). This marks a price increase of ₹3,600 over the previous model and brings the motorcycle in line with the more stringent OBD2B emission standards.

What’s New in the 2025 Yamaha FZ-S Fi?

The major update lies in the engine, which is now OBD2B-compliant. While performance figures remain unchanged, the motorcycle has gained a kilogram in kerb weight, now tipping the scales at 137kg. A minor yet noticeable design tweak is the repositioned indicators, now neatly integrated into the tank shrouds, offering a cleaner, more refined look.

Fresh Colours and Graphics

For 2025, Yamaha is introducing two new colour schemes — black and grey — complemented by updated graphics. Though not drastically different from earlier versions, they add a touch of freshness to the design.

Should You Upgrade?

Despite the update, Yamaha continues to offer the outgoing FZ-S Fi V4 DLX alongside the new model. Buyers can now choose between saving ₹3,600 by opting for the older version or going for the updated model with the latest emission compliance and refreshed styling.

Engine and Performance

Mechanically, the FZ-S Fi stays the same. It’s powered by the familiar 149cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that puts out 12.4hp at 7,250rpm and 13.3Nm of torque at 5,500rpm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
