TVS Raider 125 Dual-Disc Variant Launched at Rs 93,800

TVS Motor Company has officially launched a new dual-disc variant of its popular sporty commuter, the Raider 125, priced at Rs 93,800 for the LCD-equipped version and Rs 95,600 for the TFT variant (ex-showroom). This update brings several feature additions aimed at enhancing safety, performance, and everyday usability.

Key Highlights

  • Dual disc brakes with single-channel ABS

  • Two versions: LCD (SXC DD) and TFT (TFT DD)

  • New boost mode for stronger acceleration

  • Updated tyre setup: 90/90-17 (front) and 110/80-17 (rear)

  • New red colour scheme introduced

Improved Braking and Safety

The biggest upgrade on the new Raider 125 is the inclusion of disc brakes at both ends, complemented by single-channel ABS—a welcome move ahead of the upcoming safety regulations. The improved braking hardware not only enhances stopping power but also improves confidence while riding in urban or highway conditions.

Added Performance and Features

Borrowing tech from the TVS Jupiter, the Raider now comes with a boost mode that delivers an extra surge of torque for quicker overtakes. Additionally, it retains the brand’s GTT (Glide Through Traffic) technology, allowing for smoother low-speed manoeuvring and better fuel efficiency in stop-go traffic.

Display Options and Design Updates

The new Raider variant can be had with either a 5-inch TFT display or an LCD instrument cluster, catering to different rider preferences. The TFT version offers connected features such as navigation and ride statistics, while the LCD variant keeps things simple yet functional. TVS has also added a new red colour option, further enhancing the Raider’s sporty appeal.
