Porsche has expanded its Macan EV lineup in India with two new variants, starting from Rs 1.23 crore. The luxury electric SUV initially debuted with a single Turbo trim, which has now received a price hike.

Porsche Macan EV: New Variants and Features
In addition to the new entry-level RWD Macan EV, Porsche has introduced a new 4S variant priced at Rs 1.39 crore. The Macan EV Turbo’s price has also been revised, increasing from Rs 1.65 crore to Rs 1.69 crore.
- Entry-Level Macan EV: Features a single rear-mounted electric motor producing 360hp and 563Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0-100kph in 5.7 seconds and has a top speed of 220kph.
- Mid-Level Macan 4S EV: Equipped with two electric motors generating a combined 516hp (with power overboost) and 820Nm of peak torque. It accelerates from 0-100kph in 4.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 240kph.
Both new variants offer a new Slate Grey Neo exterior color option and optional 20-inch Macan S alloy wheels.
Battery, Range, and Charging
All Macan EV variants come with a 100kWh battery pack. The range for each trim is as follows:
- Macan Turbo EV: 591km
- Macan 4S EV: 606km
- Entry-Level Macan EV: 641km
The Macan EV, based on the PPE platform, features an 800V charging architecture that supports up to 270kW DC fast charging. This enables the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes.
Competition and Availability
The Porsche Macan EV competes with other luxury electric SUVs like the Audi Q8 e-tron, Mercedes EQE SUV, and BMW iX. Bookings for the new variants are now open, with deliveries expected to commence later this year.
