Aston Martin’s Latest Sports Coupe Unveiled in India

Aston Martin has introduced the all-new Vantage in India, priced from Rs 3.99 crore (ex-showroom, India). Recently revealed globally, this sports coupe showcases extensive exterior restyling and significant interior updates, including a new dashboard and software platform.

Aston Martin Vantage: Exterior Design

The new Vantage exhibits a more aggressive appearance compared to its predecessor. The front features a prominent grille spanning the width of the bumper, redesigned intakes, and larger, rounded headlamps with a distinctive LED signature akin to the DB12 and One-77 supercar. The profile boasts redesigned air ducts, while the rear sports a more dynamic bumper and diffuser setup. The wider stance and updated details enhance the car’s overall aesthetics.

Aston Martin Vantage: Interior and Features

Inside, the Vantage adopts a modern cockpit layout emphasizing connectivity and refinement. Unlike its predecessor with a dated Mercedes-based system, the new Vantage features a bespoke 10.25-inch touchscreen with advanced software offering 3D mapping, wireless smartphone mirroring, and other advanced features. Physical switchgear remains for essential controls, complementing the new digital instrument cluster and improved interior quality.

Aston Martin Vantage: Powertrain and Specifications

The highlight of the updates is the substantial power increase from the 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine sourced from Mercedes-AMG. Output is now a formidable 665hp and 800Nm, propelling the Vantage to a 0-100kph time of just 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 325kph. This performance enhancement is achieved through extensive engine tuning, including new cam profiles, improved cooling, and larger turbochargers. The Vantage retains rear-wheel drive with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, complemented by adaptive dampers and electronic differential for enhanced driving dynamics.

Aston Martin has positioned the new Vantage competitively against luxury sports cars like the Bentley Continental GT and Porsche 911 in India, delivering uncompromised performance and luxury.
