Mercedes-Benz C 300 AMG Line Launched in India at Rs 69 Lakh

Mercedes-Benz has introduced the new C 300 AMG Line in India, priced at Rs 69 lakh. Replacing the previous C 300d AMG Line, this model is now the flagship of the C-Class lineup. Alongside this, Mercedes-Benz has also updated features across the entire C-Class range and the GLC SUV.

Interestingly, the BMW M340i, a direct competitor, is priced at Rs 72.90 lakh and boasts a more powerful 374hp, 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. Meanwhile, the high-performance Mercedes C 43 AMG is significantly higher at Rs 98.25 lakh.

What’s New in the C 300 AMG Line?

The C 300 AMG Line is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine delivering 258hp and 400Nm of torque. The engine includes an integrated starter generator (ISG) that offers an additional 22hp and 205Nm, and an overboost function that temporarily boosts power by 27hp. Mercedes-Benz claims a 0-100kph time of 6 seconds and a top speed of 250kph.

Compared to the previous 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine in the C 300d, which produced 265hp and 550Nm of torque and was priced at Rs 62.70 lakh, the new petrol variant focuses on delivering a more refined driving experience.
