Lexus India invites design professionals to participate in the seventh edition of the prestigious Lexus Design Award India 2024 (LDAI). This unique platform showcases talent and creativity, offering an opportunity for designers to contribute to a thriving and sustainable future through innovative design and technology solutions.

Previous Success and Impact
LDAI has seen overwhelming response in the past, receiving over 4300 entries from across India in just 6 years. The designs have addressed crucial challenges in healthcare, energy conservation, sustainable goods, waste management, and more. Some of these exceptional designs have been compiled into a limited-edition Lexus Coffee Table Book.
Categories for Entries
Designers can submit their innovative ideas in the following six categories:
1. Conceptual category
2. Industrial design
3. Textile design
4. Furniture design
5. Built environment
6. Tech design
The Distinguished Jury
The judging panel consists of accomplished individuals from various fields:
- Subodh Gupta: Contemporary artist
- Dr. Anupama Kundoo: Renowned architect and researcher
- Vinu Daniel: Principal architect and visionary behind Wallmakers
- Tarun Tahiliani: Noted designer in the field of architecture and interior design
- Giri Venkatesh: Marketing strategist and design enthusiast at Lexus
Prizes and Recognition
Five winners will be selected across categories. Finalists will receive guidance from leading design gurus through a curated design workshop. The winners stand a chance to travel to Milan and experience the Lexus Design Event at Milan Design Week in Italy in 2024.
