Kia has unveiled its latest premium compact SUV, the New Sonet, at an attractive introductory price starting from INR 7.99 lakh (Ex-showroom) across India. The vehicle, which was first revealed in December 2023, is now available for booking through Kia India’s official website and authorized dealerships with an initial booking amount of INR 25,000.

The New Sonet is equipped with 25 safety features, including an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) featuring 10 autonomous functions. These include Front Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA), Leading Vehicle Departure Alert (LVDA), and Lane Following Assist (LFA).
In addition to ADAS, the Sonet boasts 15 high-safety features standard across all variants. These include 6 Airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), making 6 airbags a standard across Kia’s product portfolio.

Over 70 connected car features have been incorporated into the Sonet, including the notable ‘Find My Car with SVM’ and Hinglish voice recognition commands.

The Sonet’s interior is further enhanced with a Dual Screen Connected Panel Design, Rear Door Sunshade Curtain, and one-touch Auto up/down Safety Power Windows. The vehicle also features a new grille, bumper design, Crown Jewel LED Headlamps, R16 Crystal Cut Alloy Wheels, and Star Map LED Connected Tail Lamps.

The new Sonet is offered in 19 different variants, including 5 Diesel Manual variants starting from INR 9.79 lakhs. The top-end GT Line and X-Line variants in Petrol are priced at INR 14.50 and 14.69 Lakhs, while Diesel variants are at INR 15.50 and 15.69 Lakhs respectively.
