Jeep Grand Cherokee Got 5star in EURO NCAP

  • One and only one, completely loaded model is offered.
  • Gets a 4×4 Quadra-Trac system

After evaluating the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee for its crashworthiness, the European testing organisation known as Euro NCAP awarded the SUV with the maximum possible grade of five stars. The results of the Euro NCAP testing serve as a standard for measuring the risk of being involved in an accident; these ratings are recognized all over Europe, and the bar for safety is continually raised.

The sport utility vehicle received a score of 81 percent in the vulnerable road user test, 84 percent in the adult occupant test, 89 percent in the child occupant protection test, and 81 percent in the safety aid test. The model that was used for testing featured front airbags, knee airbags, curtain airbags, a belt pre-tensioner with a load restriction, a seat belt reminder, and ISOFIX mounting points.

The engine that powers the Jeep Grand Cherokee is a 2.0-liter inline-four twin-scroll turbocharged gasoline unit that is capable of producing 268 horsepower and 400 Newton-meters of torque. The powertrain has a transmission with eight different gear ratios and a four-wheel drive system called Quadra-Trac.
