DigiLocker is a digital document wallet that provides access to authentic digital documents such as Aadhaar, PAN, RC, DL, etc. The documents issued in the DigiLocker system are considered equivalent to the original documents as per Section 9A of the IT Rules, 2016.

Step 3: Once logged in, click on the “Search” button on the bottom navigation bar. Type “RC” and click on “Registration of Vehicles” in the search results. Alternatively, under the Categories section on the Search page, click on “Transport” >> “Ministry of Road Transport and Highways” and select “Registration of Vehicles.”

Step 4: Your name will be prefilled from Aadhaar. Enter your car Registration Number and the entire Chassis Number (17 characters). Then, click on “Get Document.”

Step 5: Your Registration Certificate will be displayed on the screen. You can access your RC anytime by going to the “Issued Documents” section.
