Honda’s Budget-Friendly Motorcycle: Shine 100 Now Available in the Market

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched its latest offering, the Shine 100 motorcycle, in the country. This affordable bike is aimed at urban and rural consumers who need a reliable and efficient mode of transportation to navigate traffic. Priced at Rs 64,900 (ex-showroom, Mumbai), the Shine 100 is the company’s second major launch of 2023, following the Activa H-Smart.

The Shine 100 is equipped with a newly developed 100cc engine that delivers better power, efficiency, and improved mileage with the help of Honda’s PGMFI technology. The bike is also designed to be easy to maintain, as its fuel pump is placed outside the fuel tank for easy access and servicing. This not only makes it convenient for riders but also helps Honda keep costs down.

The motorcycle will be available in five vibrant colors, giving consumers plenty of options to choose from. Bookings for the bike are now open, with deliveries set to begin in May after production begins next month.

The Shine 100 is powered by a 100cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that is RDE compliant and capable of running on E20 fuel. Its power and torque figures make it a strong contender against other entry-level commuter motorcycles such as the Hero Splendor, HF Deluxe, and Bajaj Platina.

In summary, the Shine 100 is a practical and affordable motorcycle that promises to offer a smooth riding experience, fuel efficiency, and easy maintenance to meet the needs of consumers in both urban and rural areas.
