Bajaj has introduced the Chetak 3201, a special edition of its electric scooter, available exclusively on Amazon for an introductory price of Rs 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). This new model boasts a higher range and several unique features.
Key Features:
- Range: 136 km, surpassing the top-spec Chetak Premium.
- Top Speed: 73 kph.
- Color: Available only in black.
- Design: Features ‘Chetak’ stickering on the side panels and a two-tone quilted seat.
- Battery: Equipped with a 3.2 kWh battery pack, similar to the Premium variant but with a higher claimed range and faster charging time.
- Display: Comes standard with a monochrome TFT, upgradeable to a color TFT through the ‘TecPac’ which includes Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and two riding modes (Sport and Eco).
Bajaj has yet to disclose the cost of the TecPac.
The Chetak 3201 marks a milestone for Bajaj, as the company recently celebrated crossing 2 lakh sales for the Chetak. Earlier this year, Bajaj also introduced a more affordable variant. It remains unclear whether the Chetak 3201 will be a limited edition or a permanent addition to the lineup. For now, it can only be purchased through Amazon.
