Suzuki Motorcycle India has unveiled a special edition version of the iconic Hayabusa in India, commemorating the motorcycle’s 25th anniversary. The Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition, launched at Rs 17.70 lakh (ex-showroom), showcases a host of visual enhancements over the standard model.
Suzuki Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition: What’s New?
The special edition Hayabusa features a striking orange and black dual-tone paint scheme. Additionally, it comes with gold-anodised finishes on the drive chain adjuster rotor and internal part of the front brake disk. A distinctive 25th Anniversary logo is etched on the muffler, and a new 3D Suzuki emblem adorns the tank. This celebratory edition includes a single seat cowling as standard.
Suzuki Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition: Powertrain
Powering the Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition is the same robust 1,340cc, in-line four, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled DOHC engine that delivers 190hp and 150Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission featuring a bi-directional quickshifter. There are no mechanical alterations in the special edition variant.
Suzuki Hayabusa: Price and Competition
The standard Hayabusa is priced at Rs 16.90 lakh, making the 25th Anniversary Edition Rs 80,000 more expensive. While the Hayabusa stands unrivaled in its category in India, it competes closely on pricing with the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R.
This revised version aims to captivate motorcycle enthusiasts with its distinctive aesthetics and continued performance excellence, celebrating a quarter-century legacy of the renowned Hayabusa.
