Maruti Suzuki has launched its new flagship MPV, the Invicto, in India. Priced at Rs 24.79 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory price) for the base Zeta+ trim, the Invicto is available in two trims: Zeta+ and Alpha+. Customers can choose between two seating configurations as well.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto exterior
The Invicto shares its platform with the Toyota Innova Hycross and is manufactured at Toyota’s Bidadi plant. It is the eighth product to be offered through Maruti Suzuki’s premium Nexa dealership.
In terms of design, the Invicto closely resembles the Innova Hycross, featuring a similar grille with slight variations in mesh design and horizontal chrome slats that extend into the headlights. The front bumper and faux skid plates also showcase unique styling cues. At the rear, the Invicto sports tail-lights with Nexa’s three-block design.
The MPV’s dimensions mirror those of the Innova Hycross, measuring 4,755mm in length, 1,850mm in width, 1,795mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,850mm.
Maruti Suzuki Invicto interior and features
Inside the Invicto, similarities to the Innova Hycross continue. While the Toyota model offers black and brown interiors with silver accents, the Invicto features an all-black interior with Champagne Gold accents. The cabin can accommodate either seven or eight occupants, and the third-row seats can be folded down to expand the boot space from 239 litres to 690 litres.
The Invicto comes packed with a range of features. It boasts a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Other notable features include a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof with ambient lighting, a powered driver’s seat, powered tailgate, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats with cupholders, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and more than 50 Suzuki Connect features. Safety is prioritized with six airbags as standard, along with ABS, electronic parking brake, stability control, and hill start assist.
Maruti Suzuki Invicto powertrain and platform
Powering the Invicto is a strong-hybrid powertrain consisting of a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor. Together, they deliver a total output of 184hp, mated to an e-CVT transmission. This makes the Invicto Maruti Suzuki’s first hybrid-only and automatic-only model. The MPV also offers an electric-only mode and achieves a claimed 0-100kph acceleration time of 9.5 seconds, with a claimed fuel efficiency of 23.24kpl.
The Invicto’s platform is based on Toyota’s TNGA-C ‘High’ platform, featuring a monocoque chassis with a transversely mounted engine that powers the front wheels.
Maruti Suzuki Invicto rivals
Directly competing with the Toyota Innova Hycross, the Maruti Suzuki Invicto aims to attract customers looking for a premium MPV. Previously, the Kia Carnival would have been a rival, but it was recently discontinued due to non-compliance with new emission norms. Alternatives in the market within a similar price range include the Mahindra XUV700, Scorpio N, Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus, and Tata Safari, all offering three-row seating options.
