Kia Seltos Facelift Unveiled in India: Pre-Booking From 14 July

Kia India has recently unveiled the Seltos facelift, featuring a range of updates and improvements. The refreshed model reintroduces the turbo-petrol engine and offers an array of new features. Bookings for the Seltos facelift are set to open on July 14, 2023. Since its launch in August 2019, the Seltos has been a popular choice in India, with over five lakh units sold.

1. Exterior Design

The Seltos facelift showcases several exterior design enhancements, including:
a. Redesigned headlights with new LED daytime running lamps
b. Larger bumper and body-colored inserts in fog lamp housing
c. 18-inch, dual-tone alloy wheels (previously exclusive to X Line trim)
d. Inverted L-shaped tail-lights connected by an LED light bar
e. Sequential turn indicators and redesigned bumper with relocated reverse light
f. Refreshed tailgate design with reduced chrome elements
g. Introduction of a new color option: Pewter Olive

2. Interior and Features

The Seltos facelift offers a refreshed interior design and a host of new features:
a. Dual-screen setup with two 10.25-inch displays (digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment)
b. Thinner AC vents and redesigned panel for HVAC and media controls
c. X Line trim features a new sage green interior color; GT Line variants showcase black and white theme
d. Additional features: 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, 8-inch heads-up display
e. Enhanced audio experience with a Bose-tuned 8-speaker system and sound mood lamps
f. Safety features: 17 ADAS functions, six airbags, tire pressure monitoring system, ESC, and Hill Assist Control

3. Powertrain Options

The Seltos facelift retains the existing 1.5-liter petrol and turbo-diesel engines:
a. Petrol engine: 115hp, 144Nm torque, available with a 6-speed manual or CVT
b. Turbo-diesel engine: 116hp, 250Nm torque, offered with a 6-speed iMT or 6-speed automatic gearbox
c. Reintroduction of turbo-petrol engine: 1.5-liter unit producing 160hp and 253Nm torque
d. Turbo-petrol engine paired with 6-speed iMT or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox
