Yamaha Launches 2023 Motorcycle Line-up with Traction Control System (TCS)

Yamaha Motor announced today that the 2023 versions of the FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe, FZ-X, MT-15 V2 Deluxe, and R15M will come out with a new look and features that are the best in their class. In addition to the Yamaha R15M and R15V4, the Yamaha FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe, FZ-X, and MT-15 V2 Deluxe will now all come with a traction control system (TCS).

The TCS controls the timing of the spark plugs and the amount of fuel injected into the engine so that the power output can be changed instantly to avoid too much slippage. This makes sure that the power gets to the wheel efficiently and keeps the wheels from spinning too much, giving modern bikers the thrill they deserve.

Eishin Chihana, Chairman of the Yamaha Motor India Group of Companies, spoke at the event. He said, “As part of the ongoing “The Call of the Blue” brand campaign, Yamaha is committed to bringing exciting features from its global product portfolio to India and starting new programmes to give our customers new experiences.

In line with this promise, we’re happy to say that our premium 149cc-155cc motorcycles will now come with Traction Control as a standard feature. Yamaha motorcycles are very popular all over the world because of how well they handle and perform. And we’re sure that the updated versions of our motorcycles in 2023, which will have a long list of features that young people in India will want, will be a big hit.”

Yamaha FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe & FZ-X

Yamaha FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe

In 2023, the FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe model will get a brand-new design for its headlights, and LED flashers will be added to the bike to make it look more expensive. The FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe version is now also powered by a Bluetooth-enabled Y-Connect application.

With the addition of LED flashers and a brand-new colour scheme (Dark Matt Blue with a golden rim), the FZ-X now comes with TCS as standard. It also has a brand-new colour scheme (Dark Matt Blue with a golden rim), which gives it the thrill and comfort that riders want, whether they are riding to work in the city or to relax on the weekend.

Both the FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe and the FZ-X have a single-channel ABS in the front and a rear disc brake. They also have a multi-function LCD instrument cluster, an LED headlight, a tire-hugging rear mudguard, and a lower engine guard. They are both powered by a 149 cc engine that has been used for a long time and is very reliable. It can produce 12.4 PS of peak power at 7,250 rpm and 13.

Yamaha R15M & MT-15 V2 Deluxe

The 2023 R15M will now have a YZF-R1-inspired coloured TFT metre with a gear shift indicator, a Track & Street Mode selector, and LED flashers, which is a very popular feature. The R15M 2023 model keeps all of the same features as the previous model. In version 4 of the R15 supersport model, the company has also added a new colour called “Dark Knight,” which is meant to get customers even more excited.

MT-15 V2 Deluxe

Aside from this, the 2023 Yamaha MT-15 V2 Deluxe will come with dual-channel ABS as standard, which will make it much easier to stop. It will also have brand-new LED flashers to make it look even better. In addition to Ice Fluo-Vermillion, Cyan Storm, and Racing Blue, the MT-15 V2 Deluxe will now also be available in Metallic Black.

Both the R15M and the MT-15 V2 Deluxe are powered by Yamaha’s legendary liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve, 155cc fuel-injected engine with a Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) system. They also have a smooth-shifting 6-speed gearbox with an Assist and Slipper clutch for easier operation. At 10,000rpm, they have the most power at 18.4PS, and at 7,500rpm, they have the most torque at 14.2Nm.

Yamaha released the FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe and FZ-X models today, which can run on E20 fuel and have lower emissions without losing any performance. Yamaha also plans to make all of its motorcycles run on E20 fuel by the end of 2023.

Chihana said this about Yamaha’s plan to reduce its carbon footprint: “While our current strategy is full of actions to keep customers engaged and excited, we never forget our responsibility to provide a carbon-neutral future for mobility. As a first step in that direction, we released the FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe and the FZ-X models that work with E20 fuel today.

By the end of this year, we plan to make all of our motorcycle models work with E20 fuel. We will keep coming up with new ideas and speeding up our work to make eco-friendly products that can run on cleaner and greener fuels so that we can reach our goal of carbon neutrality in the future.
