Updated Bajaj Pulsar 150 Launched in India at Rs 1.09 Lakh: LED Headlamp, New Colours Added

Bajaj Auto has refreshed one of its longest-running motorcycles in India, the Pulsar 150, with a set of subtle yet meaningful updates. Aimed at keeping the popular commuter relevant in today’s market, the changes focus on features and styling, while the proven mechanical package remains untouched.

LED lighting added to the Pulsar 150

The biggest highlight of the update is the introduction of an LED headlamp along with LED turn indicators. This marks a significant step for the Pulsar 150, as it becomes one of the first motorcycles from Bajaj’s older Pulsar lineup to receive full LED lighting. Until now, this feature was largely reserved for newer-generation Pulsar models.

The LED headlight is expected to offer better illumination and improved visibility, while also giving the motorcycle a more contemporary look.

New colours and refreshed graphics

Along with the lighting upgrade, Bajaj has also introduced new colour options and revised graphics for the Pulsar 150. The styling updates are inspired by the Pulsar 220F, lending the bike a slightly sportier and fresher appearance.

Despite these changes, the overall design, body panels and stance remain familiar, retaining the classic Pulsar silhouette that has remained largely unchanged for years.

Engine and hardware remain unchanged

Mechanically, the Pulsar 150 continues as before. It is powered by the same 149.5cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 14hp and 13.4Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox, and there are no changes to the chassis, suspension or braking hardware.

This ensures that the Pulsar 150 retains its well-known balance of performance, reliability and everyday usability.

Updated Bajaj Pulsar 150 price in India

The refreshed Pulsar 150 range is priced as follows (ex-showroom, India):

  • Single-disc variant: Rs 1.09 lakh

  • Single-disc variant with LED headlamp: Rs 1.12 lakh

  • Twin-disc variant: Rs 1.15 lakh

With the addition of LED lighting and updated styling, Bajaj is aiming to keep the Pulsar 150 competitive in the highly contested 150cc segment, while preserving the core attributes that have made it a bestseller over the years.
