Toyota has reintroduced the 2025 Land Cruiser 300 in India, just over a month after temporarily removing it from its website. The updated model now starts at ₹2.31 crore, with prices going up to ₹2.41 crore for the new, off-road-focused GR-S variant. Bookings for both trims—ZX and GR-S—are now open.
Pricing & Competition
- ₹21 lakh price increase over the previous model
- No direct rivals in India
- Competes with the Range Rover (₹2.4-4.4 crore) and Mercedes-AMG G 63 (₹3.6 crore)
The price hike is justified by added features and improved safety. While the Land Cruiser 300 doesn’t have a direct competitor in India, it appeals to buyers considering high-end luxury off-roaders like the Range Rover and the Mercedes-AMG G 63.
Key Feature Upgrades & Safety Enhancements
- ZX variant now gets connected car tech & a digital instrument cluster
- GR-S variant adds front & rear differential locks and a limited-slip differential
- Level 2 ADAS now standard on both trims
Toyota has upgraded the Land Cruiser 300 with a suite of new features while retaining key comforts such as 4-zone climate control, ventilated seats, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and a 360-degree camera. The ZX trim now includes remote AC control, geo-fencing, and a digital driver’s display, replacing analogue dials. Additionally, the gear knob gets a premium leatherette finish.

- Front & rear differential locks
- Limited-slip rear differential
- Crawl control & hill-start assist
- Terrain modes & a four-camera off-road monitoring system
- Active traction control
Aesthetically, the GR-S sports black exterior accents, a bolder front bumper, black alloy wheels, and GR badging, giving it a more rugged, performance-driven look.
Safety & Driver Assistance
Both variants now come with Toyota’s Level 2 ADAS, which includes:
- Adaptive cruise control
- Lane-keep assist
- Autonomous emergency braking
- Adaptive LED headlights
Colour Options
- Exterior: Precious White Pearl, Attitude Black
- Interior:
- ZX trim: Beige & black options
- GR-S trim: Black with dark red accents
Performance & Powertrain
The 3.3-litre V6 diesel engine remains unchanged, delivering:
- 309 hp & 700 Nm torque
- 10-speed torque converter automatic transmission
- Four-wheel drive as standard
With its revamped feature list, off-road upgrades, and enhanced safety tech, the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser 300 continues its legacy as a premium, go-anywhere luxury SUV.
