Vietnamese EV giant VinFast made a striking debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, where its electric cars and SUVs turned heads. However, sharing the spotlight were five electric scooters, marking VinFast’s venture into the two-wheeler EV segment in India.
The showcased lineup included the Klara S, Theon S, Feliz S, Vento S, and Evo200. All models are equipped with a 3.5kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, offering a claimed range of 190–210 km per charge. These figures are based on ideal conditions with a 65kg rider traveling at a steady 30 km/h on flat terrain, though real-world performance may vary. Depending on the model, top speeds range from 70 to 90 km/h.
Notably, VinFast has patented the design of the Klara S e-scooter in India, a move that often signals the manufacturer’s intent to introduce the product to the local market. However, as of now, no official launch plans have been announced.
In addition to its scooters, VinFast also displayed the DragonFly electric cycle, featuring a 0.6kWh battery, pedals for manual use, a compact headlight, a front disc brake, and rugged, mountain bike-style tires.
With this diverse showcase, VinFast is hinting at its potential ambitions in India’s rapidly evolving electric mobility landscape.
