Classic Legends has officially launched the updated Yezdi Scrambler in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2 lakh (Delhi). The refreshed scrambler arrives alongside the new BSA Scrambler 650 and brings several meaningful upgrades, including reduced weight, a revised engine, updated styling, and new riding technology.
2026 Yezdi Scrambler Gets Major Weight Reduction
One of the biggest highlights of the updated Yezdi Scrambler is its lower weight. Classic Legends has managed to shave off 8kg, reducing the bike’s dry weight from 182kg to 174kg.
This improvement is expected to enhance agility, handling, and off-road capability. A likely contributor to the weight loss is the switch from the previous twin-exhaust layout to a new single-exhaust setup.
Fresh Styling Updates for a More Rugged Look
While the overall scrambler silhouette remains familiar, the motorcycle now receives subtle yet noticeable cosmetic enhancements. These include:
- New fuel tank graphics
- ‘69’ numbered side panel design
- Revised seat profile
- Updated overall detailing
The new seat also increases height by 13mm, taking the seat height to 813mm.
Revised 334cc Engine Produces More Power
Powering the updated model is a reworked 334cc single-cylinder engine. Although displacement remains unchanged, performance figures have improved.
The engine now produces:
- 30hp of power
- 30Nm of torque
This marks a slight increase over the outgoing version, promising stronger acceleration and improved rideability.
Three Riding Modes Added
The new Yezdi Scrambler now offers three selectable riding modes:
- Road
- Off-Road
- Rain
These modes alter throttle response and traction control settings, helping riders adapt to changing terrain and weather conditions.
Suspension, Wheels and Hardware
The motorcycle continues with its proven suspension setup:
- Telescopic front forks
- Twin rear shock absorbers
Wheel setup remains unchanged with:
- 19-inch front wire-spoke wheel
- 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheel
This combination should continue to offer a balanced mix of road comfort and light trail capability.
2026 Yezdi Scrambler Price in India
The updated Yezdi Scrambler is priced at Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it approximately Rs 5,000 more expensive than the previous version.
Final Verdict
With lower weight, more power, riding modes, and refreshed styling, the updated Yezdi Scrambler appears to be a much stronger package than before. It should appeal to riders looking for a stylish, adventure-ready motorcycle with everyday usability and improved technology.
