Updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 revealed before September 1 launch

Royal Enfield has unveiled an updated version of its iconic Classic 350 motorcycle ahead of its official launch on September 1. This marks three years since the introduction of the all-new J-platform variant, which has been a cornerstone of the brand. The latest iteration brings enhanced features, additional color options, and maintains the classic aesthetic that has made the bike a favorite among riders. Pricing details will be announced on September 1, with deliveries beginning the same day.

Key Highlights of the Updated Classic 350:

  • Modern Features: The updated Classic 350 now includes LED lighting for the headlight, tail-light, indicators, and pilot lights. Additionally, it offers adjustable levers, a gear-position indicator, and a USB-C charging port for added convenience.
  • New Color Options: The refreshed lineup introduces six new color schemes: Emerald, Jodhpur Blue, Madras Red, Medallion Brown, Commando Sand, and Stealth (a black-on-black finish). These new options add a contemporary twist to the bike’s timeless design.
  • Engine and Performance: The bike continues to be powered by the 349cc single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine from the J-series, delivering 20.2 hp and 27 Nm of torque. This engine has proven its reliability and performance since its introduction in 2021.
  • Design and Build: The Classic 350 retains its signature retro styling with large mudguards, a metal tank, and flowing lines that evoke nostalgia. Some variants also come equipped with alloy wheels and tubeless tyres, blending modernity with tradition.
  • Suspension and Braking: Suspension duties are managed by a telescopic fork at the front and twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is expected to include a single disc at the front and a drum brake on lower variants, while higher variants will feature a rear disc and dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.
  • Expected Pricing: The updated Classic 350 is likely to see a slight price increase over the current model, which is priced between Rs 1.93 lakh and Rs 2.2 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai).

Royal Enfield continues to evolve its Classic 350, blending modern technology with timeless design, ensuring that it remains a beloved choice for motorcycle enthusiasts.
