Upcoming Bike and Scooter Launches in August

Last month, the Bajaj Freedom 125 captured everyone’s attention. This August, the excitement continues with several highly anticipated launches, including the return of a beloved classic brand. Here’s a rundown of the bikes set to hit the market this month.

Royal Enfield Classic 350

Royal Enfield is set to update its iconic Classic 350. As reported earlier, the motorcycle will feature several new updates and minor revisions to its variants. Expected features include:

  • Complete LED lighting (headlight, tail lamp, indicators, and pilot lights)
  • Adjustable levers
  • Gear position indicator
  • USB-C charger
  • Alloy wheels with tubeless tires

These features will be distributed across different variants, with the highest variant incorporating all of them. Mechanically, the Classic 350 will remain unchanged. The launch date is set for August 12.

BSA Gold Star

BSA is making a comeback with the highly anticipated Gold Star. This 652cc single-cylinder motorcycle boasts:

  • 45hp at 6,500rpm
  • 55Nm at 4,000rpm
  • Five-speed gearbox

The Gold Star will launch on August 15, positioning itself as a direct competitor to the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.

Ola Electric Bike

Ola has been teasing their latest two-wheeler. A teaser video featured the company’s founder riding the new product, and another image showcased its battery and frame. Known for their Independence Day launches, Ola is expected to unveil this new product on August 15. It remains unclear if this will be Ola’s first bike or another addition to their scooter lineup.

TVS Scooter Launch

TVS has been hinting at an upcoming launch, with speculation pointing towards a CNG-powered Jupiter or an updated NTorq. While details are scarce, TVS has scheduled an event for August 20. We’ll have to wait to see which product they unveil on that date.
