Toyota Kirloskar Motor Registers Wholesales of 12,835 units in January 2023, Grows by 175%

The 1st of February 2023 in Bangalore: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) said today that its wholesale sales for the month of January 2023 were 12,835 units, which is a 175% increase from the same month the year before. In January 2022, the company had sold 7328 units. Also, the company sold 10,421 units in December 2022, 23% more than it did in the current month. In January 2023, TKM said that people could start making reservations for the popular Toyota Hilux and Toyota Innova Crysta. The prices for the CNG versions of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder were also made public.

Mr. Atul Sood, Vice President of Sales and Strategic Marketing at TKM, said this about the company’s performance: “The end of the Calendar Year 2022 was a good one for Toyota Kirloskar Motor. Since the company had its best year for wholesale sales in the last ten years, we are very excited and hopeful about the coming year. Even though customer demand has grown by 175% from one month to the next, we expect it to grow even more this year. At TKM, we are well-equipped to meet all of our customers’ needs.

The Innova Hycross, which is one of our most popular models, has already started to be shipped, and we are working hard to meet the growing demand for this product in India. Our customers are also still buying a lot of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. Our most popular models, such as the Camry, Fortuner, Legender, and Vellfire, continue to get good orders, which is a good sign. The Glanza continues to attract buyers because of how stylish it is.”

Toyota also took part in Auto Expo 2023 in a big way during the month of January. The company’s attendance at the event showed its commitment to India and its desire to provide the best customer experience possible through sustainable offerings in the areas of mass electrification and alternative fuel technology. This helped the company get closer to its ultimate goal of being carbon neutral.
