The Tata Nexon EV has gained immense popularity and trust among the 50,000 strong Nexon EV community in India. Currently available in over 500 cities across the country, this electric vehicle has surpassed an impressive milestone of covering over 900 million kilometers and continues to accumulate more, conquering various terrains with ease. On a monthly basis, Nexon EV owners are collectively driving an average of 6.3 million kilometers, primarily engaging in intercity and outstation travel spanning distances ranging from 100 to 400 kilometers. This remarkable feat is made possible by India’s rapidly growing charging infrastructure, which has witnessed an astonishing growth rate of over 1500% between FY21 and FY23.
One outstanding achievement that propelled the Tata Nexon EV into the India Book of Records is its recent successful completion of the “Fastest” drive from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, covering a total distance of 4003 kilometers. The remarkable aspect of this record-breaking journey was the fact that it took less than four days (95 hours and 46 minutes) to complete.
Throughout the challenging expedition, the Nexon EV performed flawlessly, enduring extreme weather conditions and navigating through demanding terrains. Impressively, the vehicle demonstrated its real-world range capabilities by effortlessly achieving an average range of over 300 kilometers. This phenomenal drive resulted in the accomplishment of 25 records along the way.
Tata Motors has also introduced an upgraded variant of the Nexon EV, known as the Nexon EV MAX XZ+ LUX. Priced competitively at INR 18.79 Lakh (ex-showroom, All India for the 3.3 kW AC charger), this top-of-the-line model offers enhanced features and advanced technologies. Notably, it boasts a state-of-the-art 26.03 cm (10.25-inch) Touchscreen Infotainment system by HARMAN, featuring a high-resolution (1920X720) High Definition (HD) display with swift responsiveness.
Furthermore, the system supports Android Auto and Apple Carplay over WiFi, providing seamless connectivity. The inclusion of a High Definition Rear View Camera enhances the overall driving experience. The audio performance of the Nexon EV MAX XZ+ LUX has also been heightened, delivering sharp notes and extended bass performance.
