Three years after its initial release, the Skoda Kushaq SUV is gearing up for a significant mid-cycle update. While Skoda has kept the Kushaq fresh with new features and special editions over the years, the upcoming facelift promises a comprehensive exterior revamp and additional features.
Exterior Updates for the Skoda Kushaq Facelift
The facelifted Kushaq will feature connected LED headlamps and tail lamps, a design trend that’s gaining popularity across various car segments. The headlamps are expected to be connected at the grille, which will also be redesigned and enlarged. The tail lamps might resemble those of the new Kodiaq, giving the Kushaq a cohesive family look. Other exterior changes will likely include redesigned front and rear bumpers, new alloy wheel designs, and additional color options.
Interior and Features
While exact details of the interior updates are still under wraps, it is anticipated that the Kushaq will receive new trim, upholstery, and color options. Confirmed updates include the addition of an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite. Existing features like the digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, and six airbags will remain, but it’s still unclear whether a panoramic sunroof will be included.
Powertrain Options
The Kushaq facelift will retain the current model’s mechanical setup. It will continue to offer the 115hp, 178Nm, 1.0-litre TSI and the 150hp, 250Nm, 1.5-litre TSI engines. Both engines will come with a standard 6-speed manual gearbox. The 1.0-litre TSI will also offer a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the 1.5-litre TSI will continue with its 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
The 2025 Skoda Kushaq facelift aims to blend modern design updates with enhanced features, maintaining its competitive edge in the SUV market.
