Royal Enfield has officially made its entry into the electric vehicle market with the establishment of a new subsidiary, Flying Flea. The first model to debut under this brand is the Flying Flea C6, an innovative electric motorcycle that pays homage to classic design while incorporating modern features.
Introducing the Flying Flea C6
The C6 represents a fresh take on electric biking, showcasing a retro-inspired design reminiscent of low-slung bobber motorcycles. It features a distinct raked-out front end and a solo saddle, lending it a unique character. One of the standout elements of the C6 is its girder-style front fork, a rarity in contemporary motorcycle design, which offers a nod to traditional engineering.
Constructed from forged aluminum, the frame of the C6 is a notable feature, especially in the budget-friendly electric segment where such materials are uncommon. Premium touches include a touchscreen TFT dashboard and newly designed switchgear, enhancing the rider’s experience. The motorcycle is equipped with all-LED lighting, with a headlight design that sets it apart from the rest of the Royal Enfield lineup.
While details regarding the powertrain and range remain undisclosed, the C6 is equipped with disc brakes at both the front and rear. Designed primarily for urban commuting, its compact dimensions and slim tires promise agility and maneuverability in city environments, potentially improving range with reduced rolling resistance.
Although the standard model is a solo seater, Flying Flea will offer an optional kit for those who wish to carry a passenger. While the C6 was the focal point of its launch event, Flying Flea also hinted at a future model—the S6 electric scrambler—which will feature longer-travel suspension, spoked wheels fitted with dual-purpose tires, and a flat, bench-style seat.
As for availability, Royal Enfield anticipates that the Flying Flea C6 will hit the market in spring 2026. It remains to be seen whether it will be sold through the existing Royal Enfield dealer network or through dedicated Flying Flea dealerships, a detail fans of the brand are eager to learn more about.
