Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Spotted Testing in India Again

Royal Enfield’s highly anticipated Himalayan 750 has been spotted undergoing testing in India, following earlier sightings in Europe. This marks another step forward for the brand’s new adventure motorcycle, which aims to offer enhanced performance and modern features over its predecessors.

Powertrain and Platform Upgrades

The Himalayan 750 is set to feature a brand-new engine delivering greater power and torque compared to the current 648cc twin-cylinder unit (47hp and 52Nm). This new engine will likely debut across multiple models, including the next-generation Interceptor and Continental GT, which have also been spotted during testing. Unlike the existing 650cc lineup, the Himalayan 750 is expected to sit on an entirely new platform, optimized for adventure touring.

Design and Features

The updated design includes a revamped front fairing reminiscent of both the Himalayan 450 and the classic 411, paired with an LED headlight found on other modern Royal Enfield models. One notable improvement is the upgraded braking system, featuring dual front discs with Bybre calipers for better stopping power.

The rear design draws inspiration from the Himalayan 450, integrating the brake light into the turn indicators. An upswept exhaust provides greater ground clearance, making it more suitable for off-road use.

Suspension and Wheels

The Himalayan 750 is equipped with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel configuration, offering a balance between off-road capability and on-road comfort. For the first time in Royal Enfield’s twin-cylinder lineup, the bike will feature a USD fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear, enhancing ride quality and handling. It is also expected to incorporate a TFT display, similar to the one on the Bear 650.

Expected Launch

With the test mule appearing close to production-ready, the Himalayan 750 is likely to make its official debut in late 2025. It will join Royal Enfield’s expanding adventure lineup, which currently includes the Scram 440 and the Himalayan 450.

This development signals Royal Enfield’s ambition to strengthen its position in the mid-capacity adventure bike segment, catering to riders seeking a blend of power, capability, and modern technology.
