Royal Enfield is gearing up for another exciting milestone as it prepares to introduce the eagerly awaited Classic 650 Twin in India by January 2025. Following the successful launches of the Goan Classic 350 and the new Scram 440, the brand shows no signs of slowing down. With its foray into electric vehicles through the Flying Flea and a robust lineup of upcoming models, Royal Enfield continues to push boundaries in the motorcycle world.
The Classic 650 Twin has been one of the most anticipated launches, combining the iconic design of the Classic 350 with the potent performance of the company’s renowned 650cc platform. Built on the same foundation as the Shotgun 650, the Classic 650 shares key components like the frame, subframe, swingarm, and select cycle parts. However, it distinguishes itself with a unique design, front suspension, and wheels that stay true to the heritage-inspired aesthetics of the Classic range.
Styling remains the standout feature of the Classic 650 Twin, borrowing heavily from the timeless appeal of the bestselling Classic 350. The motorcycle will be available in four striking colors: Vallam Red, Bruntingthorpe Blue, Teal, and Black Chrome, catering to a wide spectrum of enthusiasts.
In terms of pricing, the Classic 650 Twin is expected to be in the same ballpark as the Shotgun 650, which ranges between ₹3.59 lakh and ₹3.73 lakh (ex-showroom). The top variant could even touch the pricing of the flagship Super Meteor 650, currently priced between ₹3.64 lakh and ₹3.94 lakh.
With its blend of vintage charm and modern performance, the Classic 650 Twin is set to capture the hearts of motorcycle enthusiasts across India.
