Battery, Range and Charging

Charging Time

  • 7.4kW AC Charger: 10% to 100% in around 7 hours
  • 45kW DC Fast Charger: 20% to 80% in approximately 45 minutes

This makes the Windsor Commute suitable for city taxi operations with overnight charging support.

Exterior Design and Features

Although this variant is built for commercial use, MG has retained several premium styling touches from the regular Windsor EV.

Exterior Highlights

  • LED projector headlamps
  • Flush door handles
  • ORVM-mounted turn indicators
  • Full-size body styling retained

However, to reduce cost, MG has replaced alloy wheels with 17-inch steel wheels.

Interior Equipment

  • Black cabin theme with gold trim accents
  • Fabric seat upholstery
  • Reclining rear seats

  • USB charging ports for front and rear passengers

Instead of the larger touchscreen available in higher variants, this version gets a basic infotainment system with:

A 7-inch digital instrument display is also included.

Safety Features

MG has equipped the Windsor Commute with essential safety systems for daily commercial usage.

Safety Package Includes

  • Dual front airbags
  • Four disc brakes

  • Lower fuel and maintenance costs
  • Spacious rear-seat comfort
  • Practical city range
  • Fast charging capability
  • Affordable purchase price

It could appeal to operators using platforms like Uber, Ola, BluSmart-style fleets, and corporate cab networks.
