MG Motor India is a British car company with a 99-year history. Today, they showed off their smart electric car, the MG Comet EV, and announced a new era for India’s urban transportation. The flexible GSEV-platform-based PureEV has a simple but roomy design and a natural agility that makes getting around the city easy and stress-free.
The Comet EV is the second electric vehicle (EV) that MG Motor India sells. It has Smart technologies that make it easy to use and look to the future. The Smart EV–MG Comet will be sold for a special price of Rs.7,98000/- (ex-showroom) when it first comes out.

It is also very roomy and has the best safety features on the market. At MG, we know that smart and connected cars are the way of the future. With the Comet EV, we want to give our customers the power to make a good decision without sacrificing style or ease,” he said.
Smart Design
The MG Comet EV’s appearance shows that it is a part of the Future-Tech world. Comet EV is based on the idea of BICO, which stands for “Big Inside, Compact Outside.” It has more space and headroom and is designed to be comfortable. The Curved Tech Body line makes the Comet EV look more efficient and stylish from the outside. The Comet EV has futuristic rear-view mirrors that look like they are flying. In the Comet EV, the aero-craft interior window in the second row gives you a better view.
The MG Comet EV has a comfy and roomy cabin with a 50:50 split on the second row of seats that can fit four people. On a single charge, the Comet EV’s approved battery range is about 230 km. With features like being easy to drive, easy to turn, easy to park, easy to charge, and easy on your wallet and the environment, the Comet EV is not only the first of its kind, but also a very important and timely product for urban workers and EV fans in India.The number for the range comes from tests done at ARAI under standard test circumstances. Figures for real-world performance may be different from test settings.
