Mahindra India gave the one-of-a-kind Mahindra XUV 400 that was sold at an auction to raise money for charity to its new owner. The winner, Karunakar Kundavaram Reddy from Hyderabad, won the auction with a bid of Rs. 1,75,000, and Mr. Anand Mahindra himself gave him the keys. A month after the auction began in December, the winner was announced.

The car is a one-of-a-kind special edition that was made by Mahindra’s chief designer Pratap Bose and a fashion designer from Delhi named Rimzin Dadu. The car is painted a blue colour and has copper accents, black alloy wheels, a copper roof, and Rimzin Dadu x Bose branding all over the outside.

This branding is also found in the car’s interior. The winner will also get a bunch of extras, like a high-quality duffel bag, key holders, and seat covers. The car has the same electric motor as the standard XUV 400, which is a 39.4 kWh battery pack with a 145 bhp electric motor.

The money from the auctions will either go to the winners of the Mahindra Rise Sustainability Champion Awards or to a charity chosen by the winner. Mahindra will also donate the same amount of money to the organisation to which the winner chooses to give the money.
