Hyundai has reintroduced the Grand i10 Nios Corporate variant, now priced between Rs 6.93 lakh and Rs 7.58 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This variant was previously offered as a limited-run model in 2020 but was discontinued in 2021. The new Nios Corporate variant is available with a manual transmission and an AMT (automated manual transmission), featuring the same 83hp, 1.2-liter petrol engine.
Pricing and Comparison
The pricing for the manual and AMT versions of the new Nios Corporate variant stands at Rs 6.93 lakh and Rs 7.58 lakh, respectively. This positions the Corporate variant Rs 15,000 above the Magna trim but Rs 35,000 below the Nios Sportz Executive trim.
Features and Additions
Compared to the Nios Magna, the new Corporate variant includes enhancements such as dual-tone covers for the 15-inch wheels, a distinctive Amazon Grey exterior finish, and a ‘Corporate’ emblem on the tailgate. Inside, it features a 6.75-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Feature Comparison
However, the Corporate variant lacks certain features present in the Nios Sportz Executive, including a rear camera, rear defogger, projector headlights, alloy wheels, an 8-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.
Market Competition
The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios competes with models like the Maruti Swift (priced between Rs 5.99 lakh and Rs 8.89 lakh) in the Indian market. An all-new model of the Maruti Swift is expected to debut soon, adding to the competition in this segment.
