Hyundai has unveiled the updated Alcazar facelift in India, with prices starting at ₹14.99 lakh for the petrol-MT 7-seater variant, while diesel variants begin at ₹15.99 lakh (both prices ex-showroom). The facelifted Alcazar boasts a refreshed exterior and interior design with a host of new features borrowed from the Creta, although it retains its existing mechanical setup. Bookings are now open for a token amount of ₹25,000.
Trims and Variants
The new Alcazar is available in four trims: Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature.
Exterior Design Updates
Most of the cosmetic changes are focused on the front, featuring new H-shaped LED Daytime Running Lamps connected by a light bar, a larger grille with horizontal slats, and a redesigned bumper with a prominent silver trim for a bolder look. The side profile remains largely unchanged, apart from new 18-inch alloy wheels and functional roof rails. At the rear, the updated full-width tail-lamps sport a design reminiscent of the Venue, with a large H motif and silver accents on the bumpers for a sporty finish.
The Alcazar facelift is available in nine exterior colors, including eight monotone options: Titan Grey Matte, Starry Night, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, Robust Emerald Pearl, Robust Emerald Matte, and Fiery Red. Notably, three colors—Robust Emerald Pearl, Robust Emerald Matte, and Fiery Red—are new for the Alcazar, with the Robust Emerald Pearl shared with the Creta. There’s also one dual-tone option: Atlas White with an Abyss Black roof. Overall, the new design offers a clearer distinction from the Creta compared to its predecessor.
Interior and Features
Inside, the Alcazar facelift adopts the same dashboard layout as the Creta facelift, featuring dual 10.25-inch infotainment screens and a digital instrument cluster, along with a fresh dual-tone tan and dark blue color scheme.
Significant updates are made to the second-row seats. The Alcazar continues to offer both 6- and 7-seater configurations. In the 6-seater variant, Hyundai has removed the fixed center console between the captain seats, creating more space and allowing easier access to the third row. The second-row captain seats now include extendable thigh support, ventilation, individual armrests, and a ‘boss mode’ feature that allows the front passenger seat to be adjusted from the rear for additional legroom. Other amenities include rear sunshades and fold-out tray tables.
On the safety front, the Alcazar facelift adds Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Key features include a voice-activated panoramic sunroof, powered front seats, wireless charging pads for the front and middle rows, leatherette upholstery, Bose sound system, dual-zone climate control, rain-sensing wipers, sequential turn indicators, on-board navigation, connected features, a 360-degree camera, six airbags, and electronic stability control (ESC).
Powertrain and Specifications
The Alcazar facelift retains its existing powertrains: a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine producing 160hp and 253Nm, available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine generating 116hp and 250Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Both engines come with a front-wheel drive setup, along with multiple drive and traction control modes for snow, sand, and mud. Automatic variants also feature paddle shifters.

The Hyundai Alcazar continues to compete with rivals like the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, and MG Hector Plus.
