Sporting an OBD2-compliant design, the Dio 125 is equipped with Honda’s trusted 125cc PGM-FI engine, enhanced by Honda Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology. The Dio 125 features a sporty front design with an edgy headlamp and a sleek position lamp, emphasizing its style statement. The dual outlet muffler with a chrome cover adds to its sporty DNA and produces a distinctive exhaust note. Additionally, the moto-scooter includes modern tail lamps, a new split grab rail, wave disc brakes, alloy wheels, fresh graphics, and a bold new logo, further accentuating its sporty character.
The Dio 125’s standout feature is the globally acclaimed Honda Smart Key, which adds smartness to the sporty scooter. It offers several convenient functions, including:
1. Smart Find: The answer back system enables easy location of the vehicle. When the answer-back button on the Honda Smart Key is pressed, all four winkers blink twice to help locate the scooter.
2. Smart Unlock: This feature allows the rider to lock and unlock the vehicle without using a physical key. If no activity is detected for 20 seconds after activation, the scooter automatically deactivates.
3. Smart Start: Within a range of 2 meters, the rider can unlock the seat, fuel cap, and handle, or start the vehicle smoothly by rotating the knob on the Loc Mod (5-in-1 function switch), without removing the key.
4. Smart Safe: The Dio 125 is equipped with a Mapped SMART ECU, acting as a security device by electronically matching the ID between the ECU and SMART Key. This prevents vehicle theft, as the immobilizer system only activates when there is a secure connection with the Smart Key.
