Tata Punch Updated with New Features; Prices Start at ₹6.13 Lakh

Tata Motors has refreshed its Punch SUV lineup, simplifying the range for both petrol and CNG variants while introducing new features across select trims. The base model price remains unchanged at ₹6.13 lakh, but the top-spec variant sees a price drop of ₹20,000, bringing it down to ₹10.20 lakh. Tata is also offering limited-time benefits of up to ₹18,000 on the Punch.

Updated Trims and Features Several trims have been discontinued, while new ones have been introduced. The SUV now comes with a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen starting from the mid-spec Accomplished + variant. The engine options remain the same, with no changes to the exterior or interior design. Both petrol and CNG powertrains are carried over.

For the CNG-powered Punch, the range has expanded from five to seven variants, with the top-end model seeing a small price increase of ₹5,000.

Feature Enhancements The new Pure (O) variant adds central locking, power windows, powered ORVMs, and wheel covers. Meanwhile, the Adventure S and Adventure + S trims now come equipped with a sunroof and rear AC vents. Starting from the Accomplished + trim, the Punch gets the larger 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, while higher Creative trims feature wireless charging.

Exterior Color Options The Punch’s color palette has been updated. The base Pure variant comes in Orcus White and Daytona Grey, while the Adventure trims offer a Tropical Mist option. Sunroof-equipped Adventure trims introduce the Calypso Red shade, and Accomplished variants are available in Meteor Bronze. The Creative variants are offered in five dual-tone color schemes, with the signature Tornado Blue replacing Meteor Bronze.

Mechanically, the Tata Punch remains unchanged, continuing to compete with rivals like the Hyundai Exter (₹6 lakh–₹10.43 lakh), Citroen C3 (₹6.16 lakh–₹9.42 lakh), and Maruti Ignis (₹5.84 lakh–₹8.06 lakh).
