Kia Motors has launched the Sonet Aurochs Edition in India, which is based on the HTX trim level and sits between the HTX and HTX+ trims in the Sonet’s variant line-up. The new edition is available with both 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engines, offering customers a choice between power and efficiency.

Updated Design and Features
The updates to the Sonet Aurochs Edition are cosmetic and make it stand out from other trims in the lineup. It gets a beefier-looking front skid plate and tangerine accents on the front bumper, grille, door sills, rear skid plate and centre wheel caps.

The Sonet Aurochs Edition is available with the 120hp, 172Nm, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and the 116hp, 250Nm, 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine. Both engines are paired with a 6-speed iMT, while the petrol variant also gets a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, and the diesel variant is mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
