Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced that the brand-new Tour S, which is India’s most fuel-efficient entry-level sedan taxi, will be released. The All-new Tour S will be a better deal for customers because it has a new design that is more stylish, a comfortable and roomy interior, and a large trunk. With its modern look and advanced 1.2L K-Series engine, the all-new Tour S will make the Maruti Suzuki Commercial network even stronger. It will also have better safety and convenience features.
When introducing the All-new Tour S, Mr. Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer (Marketing and Sales), Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “The All-new Tour S with its modern design, new-age safety features, greater usability, and Advanced 1.2L K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine is a revolutionary model for the commercial sedan segment. The All-new Tour S is based on the latest generation of the Dzire. It has a striking new front fascia, and the back has stylish LED tail lamps and the “Tour S” logo.
The Advanced 1.2L K-Series engine gives the all-new Tour S 66kW@6000rpm of power in Petrol mode and 57kW@6000rpm of power in CNG mode. In petrol mode, torque is 113Nm@4400rpm, and in CNG mode, it is 98.5Nm@4300rpm. Available with both Petrol and S-CNG from the factory,
For the gasoline-powered Tour S, it has an amazing fuel economy of 23.15 km/l*. The Tour S S-CNG has a fuel efficiency rating of 32.12 km/kg*, which is 21% better than the model it replaces.
The All-New Tour S is built on the fifth-generation HEARTECT platform and offers better safety and better vehicle performance. It has advanced safety features like Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA), Speed Limiting System, Reverse Parking Sensors, Dual Airbags, etc.
Inside the all-new Tour S, there is a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, manual air conditioning with a pollen filter, a Front accessory socket, ISOFIX seat anchorages, and speed-sensitive door locks.
