Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide Launched in India at ₹67.37 Lakh: Bigger Engine, Premium Tech, Exclusive Custom Style

Harley-Davidson has introduced the CVO Road Glide to the Indian market at ₹67.37 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), placing it at the peak of the brand’s touring motorcycle range. While the standard 2025 Road Glide remains a popular long-distance cruiser, the CVO variant represents Harley’s top-tier craftsmanship, with upgraded performance, premium hardware, and exclusive styling.

Premium Price Gap

The CVO Road Glide is priced ₹21.62 lakh higher than the standard Road Glide, which currently retails at ₹45.75 lakh. The significant price jump reflects the extensive list of upgrades seen on the flagship version.

Performance Upgrade: Milwaukee-Eight 121 Engine

The biggest highlight is the switch to Harley’s larger powerplant.

  • 1,982cc Milwaukee-Eight 121 V-Twin

  • 115hp and 183Nm of torque

In contrast, the standard Road Glide uses the smaller 1,923cc Milwaukee-Eight 117, producing 107hp and 175Nm.
This upgrade translates to stronger roll-on acceleration and improved highway cruising power—crucial for a heavyweight tourer.

Suspension & Braking Enhancements

To manage its heft and performance, the CVO Road Glide uses premium cycle parts:

  • 47mm Showa USD fork

  • Twin rear shock absorbers

  • Brembo braking hardware

Although official Indian specs aren’t published yet, the motorcycle is expected to carry similar weight to the US model, roughly 393kg kerb weight.

Feature-Rich Cockpit With Massive 12.3-inch Display

The CVO Road Glide raises the bar for touring tech with a 12.3-inch TFT screen running Harley’s new Skyline OS.
Connectivity and infotainment features include:

  • Built-in Wi-Fi

  • Turn-by-turn navigation

  • Apple CarPlay

  • Bluetooth integration

Adding to the premium experience is an audio powerhouse featuring Rockford Fosgate Stage II speakers, integrated both into the fairing and saddlebags.

Advanced Rider Electronics

To ensure safety and control, the motorcycle features an extensive electronic suite, including:

  • Cornering ABS

  • Cornering Traction Control

  • Electronically Linked Brakes

  • Drag-Torque Slip Control

  • Vehicle Hold Control

  • Tyre Pressure Monitoring

These rider aids aim to make long-distance touring safer and more effortless.

Exclusive CVO Paint Scheme

CVO models are known for custom factory styling, and the Road Glide continues the tradition with an exclusive blue paint job and unique graphics.
Harley has positioned the motorcycle as both a luxury tourer and a collector-grade offering straight from the factory.

Verdict: A Luxury Touring Powerhouse for the Exclusivity Seeker

With its more powerful engine, cutting-edge electronics, high-end suspension, and bespoke finish, the Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide is designed for riders who want the very best that Harley offers.
Its price places it firmly in ultra-premium motorcycle territory, but the features, performance and exclusivity justify the tag for serious touring enthusiasts and brand loyalists.
