Porsche has launched the updated 2025 911 Turbo S (992.2) in India at a starting price of ₹3.80 crore (ex-showroom). First unveiled at the 2025 Munich Motor Show, the latest iteration of the Turbo S now arrives as the most powerful 911 ever produced. Bookings are now open, with deliveries expected to begin in the second half of 2026. In India, the 911 Turbo S rivals the Ferrari 296 GTB and McLaren Artura.
Porsche 911 Turbo S: engine, performance and specs
Powering the new 911 Turbo S is a 3.6-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six hybrid engine derived from the 911 Carrera 4 GTS. However, it gets an additional turbocharger, taking total output to 711hp and 800Nm of torque — an increase of 61hp over its predecessor. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (PDK).
This potent setup helps the car sprint from 0-100kph in just 2.5 seconds and 0-200kph in 8.4 seconds, before topping out at 322kph. Porsche also claims that the new Turbo S is 14 seconds quicker around the Nürburgring Nordschleife, clocking a lap time of 7:03.92 minutes, making it one of the fastest road-legal cars to lap the circuit.
Braking and chassis upgrades
The 992.2 Turbo S is equipped with the largest disc brakes ever fitted to a two-door Porsche, featuring 420mm front and 410mm rear carbon-ceramic rotors. It also gets a new sports exhaust system with a titanium muffler and tips, reducing weight by 6.8kg. The latest Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) system enhances handling precision and stability at high speeds, further refining its supercar performance credentials.
Exterior design and aerodynamics
Visually, the new 911 Turbo S distinguishes itself from the Carrera with a wider stance, an active front diffuser with air curtains, air intakes ahead of the rear wheels, and a distinctive ducktail spoiler. It also rides on centre-lock alloy wheels — 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear — wrapped in 10mm wider tyres than before.
One of the standout design highlights is the ‘Turbonite’ finish, a unique bronze-grey accent applied extensively to exterior and interior trim elements. This shade is now a signature touch for all future Porsche Turbo models.
Interior, features, and technology
Inside the cabin, the Turbonite theme continues across the dashboard, steering wheel, door panels, centre console, and even the seat belts. The new 911 Turbo S combines luxury with cutting-edge technology, offering:
-
18-way electrically adjustable sports seats with memory
-
Dual-zone climate control
-
Digital driver’s display
-
Touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
-
Premium upholstery and bespoke personalisation options through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur
Buyers can also opt for multiple customisation packages and performance upgrades, allowing for a truly individualised 911 ownership experience.
Porsche 911 Turbo S price and rivals

In summary
