TVS Motor Company has introduced the 2025 edition of the Apache RTR 200 4V at a price of ₹1.54 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This refreshed version brings a few notable upgrades, both in terms of mechanical hardware and visual appeal.
What’s Changed in the 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V?
The most prominent update for 2025 is the inclusion of a 37mm upside-down (USD) front fork, replacing the conventional telescopic unit for better handling and ride dynamics. Additionally, TVS has equipped the bike with a new hydroformed handlebar, which promises improved ergonomics and control.
In terms of design, while the overall styling remains familiar, the bike now sports striking red alloy wheels and refreshed graphics. It’s available in three new shades – Glossy Black, Matte Black, and Granite Grey – which give the RTR a sportier look.
Engine and Features
Under the tank, the Apache continues with the same 197.75cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine, producing 20.8hp at 9,000rpm and 17.25Nm of torque at 7,250rpm. The difference lies in its compliance with the stricter OBD2B emission standards, ensuring better environmental responsibility.
The motorcycle still offers three riding modes – Urban, Sport, and Rain – and comes equipped with premium features like dual-channel ABS, a race-tuned slipper clutch, adjustable brake and clutch levers, and TVS’ SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity. A fully digital instrument cluster and all-LED lighting round off the feature list.
Price and Competition
The 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V is priced at ₹1,53,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is about ₹5,370 more than the outgoing version. At this price point, it competes directly with the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and the Pulsar N250, offering a solid mix of performance, features, and refinement.
