Tata Sierra Interior Spotted with Triple-Screen Layout Ahead of Launch

Tata Motors’ much-anticipated Sierra SUV is inching closer to launch, and fresh spy shots have now revealed a near-final version of its cabin — including a sophisticated triple-screen setup. This comes after the SUV’s near-production form was showcased at the 2025 Auto Expo earlier this year.

Premium Cabin with Three Screens

The standout feature inside the upcoming Sierra is a floating three-screen arrangement, which includes a fully digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment touchscreen, and a dedicated display for the front passenger. Each of these screens is expected to measure 12.3 inches. This layout bears resemblance to what we’ve seen in the Mahindra XUV.e9 concept.

Adding to the premium feel, the Sierra is also expected to include features such as a two-tone dashboard, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and a panoramic sunroof. It will likely carry over the illuminated Tata logo on the four-spoke steering wheel — a design already seen on the Harrier EV — and a Harman-tuned sound system for enhanced audio quality.

Safety and Tech Highlights

On the safety front, the new Sierra should come well-equipped with six airbags, a 360-degree camera system, electronic stability control (ESC), and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), making it a strong contender in its segment.

Updated Exterior Design Revealed in Patent

Recent design patent images have also revealed subtle changes from the earlier concept version. Notably, the signature B-pillar kink and roof rails appear to have been removed in the production model. The prototype’s distinctive star-shaped alloy wheels have been replaced with a more practical design, although the wide LED front light bar and split bumper-mounted headlamps have been retained.

Launch Timeline and Powertrain Options

Tata has confirmed that the all-electric version of the Sierra will debut first, with the internal combustion engine (ICE) variants to follow. While an official launch date hasn’t been announced yet, the EV could feature the same dual-motor all-wheel drive system seen on the Harrier EV.

The ICE-powered Sierra is expected to offer both 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and diesel engine options, mated to manual and automatic transmission choices. This dual strategy underscores Tata’s commitment to offering flexibility across its SUV range.
