Triumph Unveils Limited-Edition Speed Triple 1200 RX

Triumph has taken the wraps off the new Speed Triple 1200 RX, a special edition motorcycle limited to just 1,200 units globally. Based on the 2025 Speed Triple 1200 RS, this new RX variant introduces performance-focused ergonomic tweaks, a distinctive visual identity, and exclusive hardware upgrades.

Aggressive Design Meets Track-Ready Ergonomics

Visually, the RX grabs attention with a bold neon yellow paint scheme complemented by exclusive ‘RX’ graphics. However, it’s not just a cosmetic upgrade—Triumph has also revised the riding geometry to suit more committed riders. The RX features lower and further-set clip-on handlebars, while the foot pegs are positioned higher and farther back, delivering a more aggressive riding posture for track use or spirited riding.

Premium Components Unchanged from RS

Triumph has retained the premium hardware from the RS, including Brembo Stylema calipers, Ohlins EC 3.0 semi-active suspension, and a 17-inch wheel setup shod with Pirelli Supercorsa V3 tyres. It also features an Ohlins SD EC electronic steering damper to enhance stability during aggressive cornering or high-speed runs.

Same Powerhouse, New Akrapovic Exhaust

Powering the RX is the familiar 1,163cc inline-three engine, producing 183hp at 10,750rpm and 128Nm of torque at 8,750rpm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The standout addition here is a high-end Akrapovic end can made from carbon fibre and titanium. Interestingly, while this exhaust adds to the bike’s premium appeal, it doesn’t reduce weight—the RX still tips the scales at 199kg (kerb), making it one of the lightest bikes in its class.

Limited Numbers, Premium Price Tag

The Speed Triple 1200 RX is priced at GBP 19,000 (around Rs 21.62 lakh), which is GBP 1,500 (Rs 1.70 lakh approx.) more than the standard RS. With global production capped at 1,200 units, availability is expected to be limited—and it’s unclear at this stage if Triumph will offer any units in India.
